Your Erroneous Zones by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer – Review

This book tells you to take charge of your life. It also urges you to love yourself and do away with the need to seek approval. Approval that we seek for any or all of our actions. It challenges us to break free from the past and get rid of guilt. The guilt one feels because of past actions and not to worry about your future. The book inspires you not to be afraid of getting into unknown territories and not to be bound by conventions.

It also helps you accept not to expect justice at all times, to put an end to procrastination, to declare your independence, and bid farewell to your anger.

Now we all know about these things, don’t we? Everyone has gone through some or all of these emotions. One of the good parts of the book is when the author explains with examples, why we engage in certain behaviors. The reasons behind them and how we can counter or control that behavior.

The last chapter is what I liked the best in the book, it almost felt like a description of myself. Don’t know if every reader feels the same way after reading the book, i.e. almost free of any erroneous zones, or have I managed to do away with my erroneous zones?

The message that I have, similar to what this book is trying to convey is, ‘Your happiness is your own responsibility’.

Knowing you, even I can’t imagine you reading books, but give it a try sometime, you never know what you fall in love with till you do something or meet someone…
